Buses for Wedza and Marondera hospitals

GOVERNMENT continues to walk the talk on its commitment to improve the welfare of its workers after delivering two buses for workers at Marondera and Wedza hospitals.
The buses were handed over by Mashonaland East Minister of State for Provincial and Devolution, Senator Aplonia Munzverengwi at a ceremony held at Marondera Provincial Hospital.
“This shows how committed the government is to improving the welfare of our health workers who have dedicated themselves to uplifting our health delivery system,” she said.
Mashonaland East Provincial Medical Director, Dr Paul Matsvimbo said the buses will go a long way in alleviating transport challenges at their hospitals.
“We thank the government for this donation as our staff have been facing transport challenges,” he said.
The province already has a fleet of buses availed to the Public Service Commission for the transportation of civil servants to and from work.
