AfroBasket, AfroCan qualifiers moved

The 2023 AfroBasket and AfroCan qualifiers which were scheduled to start this Monday have been moved to Tuesday amid revelations that the Bulawayo venue is not yet ready.

Basketball Union of Zimbabwe President, Joe Mujuru indicated that they will convene a technical meeting later in the afternoon.

The Six participating nations including hosts Zimbabwe are already in Bulawayo for the qualifiers.

The winners will earn a ticket to the AfroBasket and AfroCan tournaments in Kigali, Rwanda where the continent’s best players will be competing.
