ZANU PF leadership calls for peace and unity

ZANU PF leadership in Mashonaland East province has rallied party supporters to unite ahead of the general elections slated for this year.

A few months before the general elections, the ruling party leadership continues to emphasise peace and unity among its supporters in line with the party’s ethos.

At a ZANU PF meeting held in Marondera this Saturday, the leadership restated the importance of upholding unity to ensure victory in the general elections.

“We had primary elections, but we are now united as we have now selected a lineup which will win. for the party,” said Mashonaland East Zanu Pf Chairman, Daniel Garwe.

“The unity we want is the unity which will take us to victory for our President and other candidates,” said Zanu Pf Politburo member, Dr Sydney Sekeramayi.

“I know Mashonaland East province has a history of defending the revolution so the unity you have exhibited indicates that the road is clear for us,” said Zanu Pf Politburo member, Munyaradzi Machacha.

The general elections will be held in August this year.
