Transforming livelihoods remains a priority for the ruling ZANU PF

Story Jerold Sasa

THE ruling ZANU PF party says transforming livelihoods remains a priority under the Second Republic, with Murewa West residents lauding its people-oriented policies.

A ZANU PF victory celebration held at Muchinjike Primary School in Murewa West this Saturday gave villagers an opportunity to take stock of the positives achieved under the ruling party-led government.

“We are very happy that today we are celebrating a hard won victory which has transformed our lives through people oriented policies.

“The call to action plan is one such policy which is set to transform our lives especially here in rural areas,” said party members.

Murewa West legislator Honourable Daniel Garwe highlighted that ZANU PF remains a people-centred party.

Honourable Garwe, who is also Local Government and Public Works Minister spoke about the service delivery blueprint which seeks to improve efficiency in local authorities.

“As you know as a party we are committed to improving the lives of our people and so far the call to action plan is moving fast with master plans for councils at various stages of completion,” he said.

Meanwhile, Honourable Garwe handed over bicycles to Village Heads to improve their mobility as they undertake their duties.
