ZIMBABWE and China are forging ahead with efforts to deepen existing relations through collaborations in various sectors of the economy with China committing to do all it can to further strengthen the relations.
The new Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, His Excellency Zhou Ding, who recently presented his credentials to President Emmerson Mnangagwa has hit the ground running on his mission in Zimbabwe.
The Chinese envoy met the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Ambassador Frederick Shava in Harare this Monday and called on the Zimbabwean government and business community to capitalise on linkages created by the Zimbabwe-China Business Forum in Beijing, China.
The Zimbabwe-China Business Forum held early this month provided an opportunity for the Zimbabwean delegation to explore areas of possible cooperation and engage investors.
