President Emmerson Mnangagwa is officiating at this year’s National Chiefs Conference, which is underway at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair in Bulawayo.
Traditional leaders and heads of government ministries are partaking in interactive sessions that form part of the conference.
Running under the theme: ‘Firm Cultural Foundation for Community Development,’ the National Chiefs Conference was organised by the second republic, which has taken a consultative approach in its quest to ensure inclusive development in the country.
Infrastructure development, health care and community empowerment issues topped initial deliberations in Bulawayo on Tuesday.
