THREE people from the Entumbane suburb of Bulawayo have been arrested for allegedly peddling drugs, as the country accelerates the fight against drug and substance abuse.
Elton Ndlovu, Asprilla Maphosa and Lydia Ndlovu were arrested this Wednesday morning after a tip-off by members of the public.
The arrest is part of a police crackdown on drug peddlers in the city.
“The police received information that there are two houses that are dealing with dangerous drugs in Entumbane. The police acting on the tip-off applied for a search warrant and drugs were recovered,” said ZRP Bulawayo Provincial spokesperson, Inspector Abednico Ncube.
