HIS Majesty King Mswati III of the Royal Kingdom of Eswatini has arrived in Victoria Falls for the Transform Africa Summit.
King Mswati III is also expected to officially open the 63rd edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair in Bulawayo on Friday.
Zimbabwe recently witnessed the first flight between the Kingdom of Eswatini and Harare and hard on the heels of that landmark development, the top envoy from that country presented credentials to President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The bilateral relations between Zimbabwe and Eswatini are expected to be further strengthened in the true pan-African spirit as the two SADC nations chart a new course.
King Mswati III will attend the official opening of the Transform Africa Summit organised by Smart Africa which gathers over 5000 delegates from more than 100 countries to engage in the digital transformation of the continent across multiple sectors.
The bigger picture though is the growth of a unified Africa, amid the belief that the Transform Africa Summit is a vital cog in this endeavour.
Zimbabwe will be hosting the 6th Transform Africa Summit (TAS) from the 26th to the 28th of this month in the resort City of Victoria Falls.
Heads of State, who constitute Smart Africa’s board, Ministers, International Industry leaders and key players in ICT will attend the three-day event aimed at making core decisions for Africa’s socio-economic development through ICT.
“Connect, Transform and Innovate” is the theme of this edition where the focus will be on regulation and policy, digital infrastructure financing, capacity building and skills development and digital continental trade, among other key aspects.
