More than 100 participants have registered as first-time exhibitors, including the European Union.
The foreign nations exhibiting include Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia, Angola, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Belarus, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, China and the United States of America.
The 63rd edition of ZITF will be officially opened by King Mswati III of the Royal Kingdom of Eswatini on Friday 28 April 2023.
Business conferences will run concurrently with the trade expo to give local companies an opportunity to network and interact with their regional and international counterparts.
Events lined up include: – High-level interviews with various policymakers such as Government Ministers, Commissioners and Captains of Industry and a Media Indaba on 27 April with Minister Monica Mutsvangwa as Guest of Honour.
There will also be performances from stars, Enzo Ishall, Feli Nandi and others at the Zikhupani Stage.
In addition, a number of new media players will be broadcasting from the Ministry stand. These include ZBC News24, ZTN Prime, Keyona TV, NRTV, GZU Radio and Skyz Metro.
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Mr Nick Mangwana engaged journalists in Bulawayo this morning, outlining a number of programmes lined up at the Ministry pavilion at ZITF 2023.
