The Bemba community was named ‘Emaguswini Komnyamubambile’, loosely translated ‘where darkness has a grip’.
The Bemba community in Tsholotsho located about 70 kilometres from Tsholotsho Centre.
The community is enjoying the fruits of the Second Republic’s inclusive development after the installation of a solar plant to power their homesteads and improve access to water for household and irrigation purposes.
The solar plant also powers a clinic and a school in the area.
