Fear and anxiety has gripped the Ruswa area of Wedza where three people were shot dead by former Criminal Investigations Department officer, Jaison Muvhevhi last Friday.
It is not easy living in an area where three people have just been shot dead, more so in broad day light and for the people of Ruswa area, any stranger is treated with suspicion.
While the murder suspect who gunned down three people including a local apostolic sect leader and the officer in charge at Wedza Police Station has been arrested, the atmosphere is still tense.
There was a somber atmosphere at the homesteads of two of the victims including Madzibaba Sirage, whose real name is Crispen Kanerusine and local bar tender, Munashe Majani.
The small number of people gathered probably sums up the fear that has gripped the area.
