As the countdown to a New Year gathers momentum, the Christian community is optimistic about a productive and better 2023.
The church is hopeful that the country will grow its economy, come 2023.
Bishop Chiombererwa Mapfumo, founder of Royal Impact Church International said, “God is with us and he loves us. We must focus on what we want to achieve and God will help us. No one fails trusting in Him. In this year of elections, we expect peace to prevail. People prosper where there is peace and every one of us must play their part.”
“As the church, we must continue to pray for peace, especially as we head towards elections. We can truly build our country if we prioritise peace and unity,” Bishop Andby Makururu Johane the 5th of Africa International Church said.
The church has remained a key element in national development matters, with church leaders emphasizing the need for Zimbabweans to be peaceful during the forthcoming 2023 harmonised elections.
