Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford proved that he is the real deal after scoring one and creating another as the Red Devils cruised to a three-nil victory over an out-of-sorts Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford last night.
Rashford curled a superb opener from a Christian Eriksen corner kick after just 19 minutes before setting up Antony Martial for United’s second three minutes later.
A Brazilian connection between Casemiro and Fred three minutes from full time sealed the three-nil victory which saw Manchester United moving to within a point of fourth-placed Tottenham.
Earlier in the day, Chelsea edged Bournemouth two-nil at Stamford Bridge, to boost their top-four hopes.
Kai Havertz and Mason Mount were the match winners for Chelsea.
Action continues this evening as Leeds host defending Champions Manchester City at Elland Road.
Manchester City will go into the match without Ruben Dias who is out for a month due to a hamstring injury, while World Cup Winner Julian Alvarez has been given time off after Argentina’s victory in Qatar.
