INTERNATIONALLY acclaimed South African gospel musician, Dr Tumi is set to perform in the country on the 1st of January.
The Wafika hitmaker, who last performed in Bulawayo last year at the Word of Worship Concert, is set to return to Zimbabwe with a performance at the Celebration Centre in Harare.
The multi-award-winning gospel sensation will be part of the Night of Thanksgiving Concert headlined by gospel diva Janet Manyowa.
“I am going to be joined by Dr Tumi from South Africa and King Dee from SA as well. We have guest appearances by Pastor Bonnie and Thembalami so I am very excited about this. We are going to be thanking God for 2022. We last had Dr Tumi in Zimbabwe in 2018 and we know him for great worship and uplifting music,” said Janet Manyowa.
The show will also be supported by a star-studded line-up, which includes Takesure Zamar, Minister Mahendere and Sharon Manyika.
Born Tumisanga Makweya, the talented musician, who wowed gospel lovers at the Gwanda International Gospel Festival in the country in 2018 will rekindle the romance with his local fans on New Year’s Day.
