ANOTHER Zimbabwean actress Charmaine Bingwa has hit the big screen after being starred in a Hollywood film alongside Will Smith.
The Australian-based Zimbabwean actress stars as the legendary Will Smith’s wife in the Antoine Fuqua-directed film.
The movie revolves around Peter, a role played by Will Smith as an enslaved man who escapes from a labour camp.
Bingwa, also famed for her role as Carmen Moyo in the US legal drama ‘The Good Fight, has starred in ‘Black Box’ as Miranda Brooks.
Meanwhile, Emancipation, which had its first screening in Washington DC in October, was released in select cinemas on the 2nd of this month.
The film is also expected to start streaming globally on the 9th of this month on Apple TV+.
