Kasukuwere exposed

By Bruce Chahwanda, Political Editor

Former cabinet minister Professor Jonathan Moyo, who is in self-imposed exile has exposed his colleague Saviour Kasukuwere for double standards after he vowed not to bend the knee for ZANU PF.

This comes after Kasukuwere belittled Professor Moyo and another former cabinet minister, Patrick Zhuwao for apologising to the ruling party.

Skeletons continue to tumble in the G40 rankings after a decision by Professor Moyo and Mr Zhuwao to apologise to ZANU PF for aligning themselves with the opposition under the hashtag ZANU PF must go.

While Zhuwao and Professor Moyo have had their damascene moment, Kasukuwere has not taken kindly to the duo’s public apology.

In a leaked audio, Kasuwere attacked Professor Moyo and Zhuwao for penning an apology to ZANU PF.

Taking no prisoners on his social media pages, Professor Moyo claimed Kasukuwere made endless calls begging ZANU PF to be readmitted into the revolutionary party.

“Yet days after the coup, Savior Kasukuwere coined the term “New Dispensation”; he later made endless forgiveness calls and begged a ZANU PF bigwig with “APOLOGY CATTLE”!

“It’s cheap for Tyson to make hay out of the open ‘apology letter’ @PatrickZhuwao and I wrote. Our letter is public and is to ZANU PF members; unlike his private ‘APOLOGY CATTLE’ to ZANU PF bigwig,” wrote Professor Moyo.

Professor Moyo added that Kasukuwere’s private apology and his public stance expose him as an inconsistent politician.

@Hon_Kasukuwere, in 2017 wrote “Let’s embrace the new dispensation and build our nation. Unity is strength and peace are prerequisites for progress.”

The brickbats went to another level this Saturday after Kasukuwere claimed he is “ready to lead” while Professor Moyo said politics is not about leading, but service.
