THE people of Murewa have joined hands to construct an additional block at the Murewa centre Better Schools Programme Complex in a development that has been welcomed by the government as a step in the right direction.
With the government emphasising access to quality and affordable education for all, the Murewa community has taken up the challenge of playing a part in improving the education infrastructure in their area.
This has seen an additional block being constructed at the Murewa Centre Better Schools Programme Complex.
The move has since been welcomed by the government, which values the importance of infrastructure in the provision of quality education.
“We applaud the Murewa community for this initiative which is set to improve the quality of education in this area,” said Tumelang Thabela, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education.
The infrastructure is expected to improve the provision of quality education in the area.
“The authorities who monitor our schools will do their work if they are operating from a conducive environment,” said Enerst Nherera, BSPZ Murewa Chairperson.
The Better Schools programme is a fund meant to improve education infrastructure in schools.
