President Emmerson Mnangagwa has left for Lusaka, Zambia to attend celebrations to mark World Children’s day.
He was seen off at the Robert Mugabe International Airport by Vice President General Retired Dr Constantino Chiwenga and other cabinet ministers.
The day commemorates the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and is celebrated globally.
The event brings together leaders from Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia.
The theme for the day is, “Inclusion, for every child,” meaning that every child belonging to any society, community or nationality is entitled to equal rights.
