MOSES Maunganidze has been appointed the new Dynamos Executive chairperson following the booting out of Isaiah Mupfurutsa.
Isaiah Mupfurutsa was fired on Tuesday and three days later, the club replaced him with his former assistant.
Maunganidze has been the club’s vice-chairperson since 2018 and has been tasked to steer the Glamour Boys back to the glory days.
“The relationship between the chairman and the board had broken down to irreconcilable levels this is what has led to this decision, just to put you into perspective as a board we last met in May do you think that works for a board,” said Tinashe Farawo Dynamos Spokesperson.
The Dynamos spokesperson, Farawo, also highlighted why they decided not to renew the contract of coach, Tonderai Ndiraya which is expiring at the end of this month.
“The decision was a simple one, we had a contract that had deliverables and the coach failed to deliver for example his contract stated he had to win a trophy and he failed, so he failed to meet the agreed targets when we provided all the tools of the trade we gave him everything he wanted,” he said.
Dynamos finished third this past season and once again failed to win any silverware, a situation that has gone on for five years.
