THE Zimbabwe Republic Police is investigating a suspected murder case where an eleven months old baby was allegedly killed by her father.
In a statement released this Wednesday, the ZRP said the suspect Panashe Chitendeya aged 22, of Selous in Mashonaland West province, allegedly confessed to the brutal murder of the baby before dumping her in a bush.
It is alleged that Chitendeya murdered the infant after he visited his former wife, the baby’s mother seeking reconciliation after the two had separated.
The body of the baby is yet to be found.
