“Victoria Falls is the heart of tourism in this country and for the chamber of commerce to consolidate its presence in Victoria Falls, naturally I think you know its a policy thrust of the chamber of commerce where we will be able to gather much statistics regarding the tourism sector and Victoria Falls remains one of the most sought destinations of choice. If you look at the number of inbound into Victoria Falls, I think you can see there is evidence that we need a chamber of commerce branch in this town,” said Christopher Mugaga, ZNCC CEO.
“We want to improve a lot of things that include business connections and revive business and its contribution to the GDP,” said Alouis Masamba, ZNCC Victoria Falls Chapter, chairperson.
Other members were excited by the re-launch and pledged to contribute towards Zimbabwe’s economic development.
