Green machine target revenge against Dembare

By Anashe Murombedzi

CAPS United have promised a mouth-watering clash when they play Dynamos in a Harare derby slated for the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Despite what is a poor season by Caps United standards, the Green Machine are confident of ending the season on a high by inflicting revenge on their bitter rivals, Dynamos, whom they meet on Sunday.

Coach Lloyd Chitembwe has put behind him all the turmoil, including player strikes that rocked Caps United for the greater part of the season, with a focus on inflicting revenge on Dynamos that beat them 3-nil in the reverse fixture early this year.

“It is a special match. Dynamos and Caps have always been a big match in the sense that what they bring to the table is different from other matches and obviously we are looking forward to it and I am sure we have done enough to be competitive as much as we can come Sunday. Not all matches are the same we will play differently from where we applied in the past games,” he said.

Action on match-day 34 however begins on Saturday as ZPC Kariba meet Herentals at Nyamhunga Stadium, Ngezi Platinum entertain Whawha at Baobab, and Chicken Inn face Triangle United at Luveve Stadium.

Champions, FC Platinum will be crowned after their match against Cranborne Bullets at Mandava Stadium, Black Rhinos host Bulawayo City at Vengere Stadium and Harare City play a fulfilment game with Highlanders at the National Sports Stadium.

On Sunday Tenax and Manica Diamonds will clash at Sakubva Stadium, while Bulawayo Chiefs take on Yadah FC at Luveve Stadium.
