England booked their place in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final following a sensational 10-wicket win over India at the Adelaide Oval in Australia this Thursday.
England won the toss and elected to bowl before restricting India to 168/6 in their allotted 20 overs.
Hardik Pandya top scored for the Indians with 63 while Virat Kohl weighed in with 50.
In response, England did not break any sweat with their openers Jos Buttler and Alex Hales batting through the innings with player of the match, Hales top scoring with 86 while Buttler chipped in with 80 for a stunning 10 wicket victory with 24 balls to spare.
The 170 partnership between Hales and Buttler is now the highest ever partnership in T20 World Cups.
England will now meet Pakistan in the final on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
England’s opponents on Sunday, Pakistan beat New Zealand by 7 wickets in the other semi-final played on Wednesday.
