Stanford Mutizwa’s soldiers lie 9th with 45 points and are eyeing to conclude the season in the top 8 if they win against weeping Bulawayo City who needs 10 goals to survive relegation.
“This is our aim to finish in the top 8. Initially, we targeted the top 4, but now that chance is gone and this game against Bulawayo City, we are preparing for it because our last game with Whawha was not good. It is a bottom team again, but our boys were over confident and it costed us because what we expected did not come out well and if we take it lightly these relegated teams are dangerous so we hope this time we win,” said Mutizwa.
In other matches on Saturday, ZPC Kariba meet Herentals at Nyamhunga Stadium, Ngezi Platinum entertain Whawha at Baobab, while Chicken Inn face Triangle United at Luveve Stadium.
Champions FC Platinum will be crowned after their match against Cranborne Bullets at Mandava Stadium and Harare City play a fulfilment game with Highlanders at the National Sports Stadium.
On Sunday, Tenax and Manica Diamonds will clash at Sakubva Stadium, Bulawayo Chiefs take on Yadah at Luveve, with a Harare derby between Dynamos and Caps United at the National Sports Stadium concluding Match Day 34 fixtures.
