MAHUSEKWA District Hospital has received a shot in the arm following the availing of an ambulance by Marondera West legislator Honourable Spiwe Mukunyaidze to the health facility.
In line with the government’s mantra of leaving noone annd no place behind when it comes to development and access to services, Marondera West legislator, Honourable Spiwe Mukunyaidze’s timely intervention to avail an ambulance to Marondera District’s biggest referal health facility is set to ensure that all people in the district have access to health services.
The ambulance was handed over at a belated Rural Womens Day at Mahusekwa Growth point this Sunday.
“We are very excited about this development as we have been strugling to travel as patients. We want to thank our MP Cde Mukunyaidze for this kind gesture which has come at the right time especially for us women,” said a community member.
Government remains committed towards improving the standards of living for all citizens in line with Vision 2030 as explained by Senator Aplonia Munzverengwi, Mashonaland East Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution.
“This is a clear indication of how committted the Second Republic is to improving the welfare of our people as we move towards Vision 2030,” she said.
The women, who attended the event were also trained in various empowerment programmes, while those who have saving clubs had their clubs boosted by a cash injection from the legislator.
