ZANU PF President and First Secretary Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa has given operating vehicles to Provincial Chairpersons of the Women’s and War Veterans Leagues to ensure voter mobilisation continues in all parts of the country ahead of 2023 General Elections.
The move is meant to ensure the party’s five million voters target for,the 2023 elections is met.
Provincial Chairpersons of Women’s League were ecstatic as they thanked the party leadership for the gesture with Women Affairs Secretary Cde Mable Chinomona urging her constituency to work hard.
Secretary for War Veterans League Cde Douglas Mahiya said the gesture signifies the beginning of real work for the party to register a resounding victory in the 2023 elections.
Earlier on President Mnangagwa had appointed ten members into the Central Committee representing all the ten provinces.   Â
Some of the Central Committee Members appointed by President Mnangagwa include Cdes Mirriam Chikukwa , Michael Madanha , Angelina Tongogara and Emmanuel Fundira among others.
For the new politburo members, the President only appointed Dr Obert Mpofu as Secretary for Administration, Cde Patrick Chinamasa as Secretary for Finance, Cde Mike Bimha as Secretary for Commissariat and Cde Lovemore Matuke as Secretary for Security while the rest of the members will be announced in due course.
The just ended ZANU-PF 7th National People’s ’s Congress was also attended by foreign delegates whose representatives were presented with certificates of attendance by President Mnangagwa.
